Thank You

Thank you for supporting Family Shed.

Do you wonder why it’s called Family Shed? What’s wrong with Family Rec Room or Family Living Room or just Family Room?

Well, you already get the Family part. Family Shed, a program run by Cranium Ex Rectum Institute of Happiness Studies, is a surrogate family for soldiers, seniors, teenagers, and everyone else who feels a little left out.

It’s a Shed because that’s where you go to work on projects. It could maybe be called Family Garage or Family Workshop, but shed sounds more homey, more welcoming. Of course, it does also fit with the motto Cranium Ex Rectum because, once upon a time, the wood shed is where your dad took you to “lay down the law.”

Your support for Family Shed is helping us build into being that surrogate family.

Thank you. Two very small words to communicate a very large gratitude.
